Samangan Province is surrounded by Balkh in the north and Baghlan in the Est, BDN has been providing health services since Feb 2022 in mentioned province by the financial support of WHO and UNICEF to reduce preventable morbidity and mortality among the Samangan population especially the most vulnerable target including women and under-five children through primary and secondary health services for around 438,235 people in all 7 districts Samangan province through 3 district Hospitals (DHs) 4 comprehensive Health centers (CHCs), 14 Basic Health centers (BHCs),21 Primary Health Centers (PHC),1 Mobile Health Team (MHT), One Prison Health Center (PrHC) and 187 Health Posts (HP).
In Samangan Province BDN Continuous establishing 44 community Based Health councils at Health Center level, 187 councils at Health post level and 187 family Health action groups The contract duration is Five (5) months, started on Feb 2022 and it is going to be completed on June 30, 2022.
