Balkh BPHS-SEHAT III contract signed between BDN and MoPH/Afghanistan
BDN signed contract with Ministry of Public Health of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on 1st July 2017 for implementation of BPHS-SEHAT III project in Balkh Province.
On 1st July 2017 Ministry of Public Health, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan signed 19 BPHS and EPHS contracts with their succeeded bidding implementing partners. Beside implementation of BPHS in exited Health Facilities of Balkh province, below main activities will be implemented during the contract period:
1) Increasing access through establishment of new HFs, 2) Upgrading Sub Health Centers with EPI centers to have access for immunization services for women and children in remote area, 3) Training and Recruiting of female candidate from designated community as nutrition consolers in all Health facilities to improve Nutrition services for children and women specially pregnant women. 4) Implementation of revised National Salary Policy (NSP) in all HFs, 5) allocation of specified budget for innovation approaches to improve quality of health service in Health facilities of Balkh province.
BDN as community Based organization and reliable partner of MoPH/Afghanistan committed to conduct all activities of Balkh BPHS contract, which outlined in the contract during its implementation period.
