Commitment and Desire Continued to Expand the Health services in Hirat and Baghlan province of Afghanistan.

BDN signed agreement with Ministry of Public Health on the expansion of services to increase access and utilization in Baghlan and Hirat Provinces.  

Bakhtar Development Network (BDN) as implementing partner of MoPH signed agreement to establish 34 new Health Facilities; 17 Health facilities will be established to provide services for 195,624 inhabitants of Hirat provinces and 17 clinics will be established to increase access for 125841 populations of Baghlan province. The mentioned new health centers will establish in remote area to enhance people access mainly women and children to health services provision. The timeline and required preparation is under way and BDN committed to reach the objective of the agreement as per the set timeline. Other diminishes of the contract are implementation of revised National Salary Policy in Health Facilities of Baghlan and Hirat provinces and integration of DIC in Hirat province to provide HIV services.
